AX’s ITAR POLICY Many of the night vision systems and aiming devices are controlled by the U.S. Department of State under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Upon receipt of these items through purchase, loan or gift the recipient agreed that he / she will no sell, resell, divert, export, re-export, transfer, trans-ship or otherwise dispose of the item(s) to or in any country outside the United States without securing a properly executed export license or agreement from the appropriate U.S. governmental agency. This also extends to the receiver of ITAR-controlled material, who may make the same material available to a Foreign Person (within or outside the United States.) This material can include technical data, technology, or manufacturing intellectual property to allow Foreign Persons to access such items.

CAN I TRAVEL OUT OF THE COUNTRY WITH MY NIGHT VISION DEVICE? Export of night vision devices is illegal under ITAR without prior written approval from the U.S. Department of State. This includes travel - which means you cannot take a night vision device with you if you leave the United States. It is a violation of ITAR to transfer a night vision device out of the country by plane (checked or carry-on luggage), train, boat or automobile. This policy applies to all civilian and law enforcement personnel.
